Let's go cruising!
Posted on 03/26/2021Travelers, cruise lines, and travel agents are starting to see a little bit of sunshine in what has seemed to be a never ending dark tunnel full of cancellations and future cruise credits! Last week several cruise lines announced they will begin homeporting over the summer in Caribbean destinations, bypassing the CDC while remaining close to the American market. This news has sparked excitement in the travel industry as we continue to see more and more cruise lines make this decision for the summer 2021. Not only are they homeporting in Caribbean destinations but we are now seeing cruise lines port in the Eastern Mediterranean.
So what cruise lines are planning to sail this summer?
- Celebrity Apex will make its long-awaited debut this summer when it starts sailing a series of Greece sailings in June. Bookings open March 30.
- Royal Caribbean will sail Greece and Cyprus starting in July. Bookings open April 7.
- Crystal Cruises will sail in the Bahamas on the Crystal Serenity starting in July. Bookings are OPEN and already have "Record Bookings."
- Celebrity Millennium will homeport in St. Marteen for new seven-night itineraries starting in June. Bookings are OPEN!
- Royal Caribbean will make its return with a lineup of 7-night sailings onboard Adventure of the Seas, which will sail from Nassau starting in June. Bookings are OPEN!
As always we will continue to keep you up to date and hopefully we see more summer sailing announcements over the next couple of weeks!
