About Cunard

For over 180 years we have set the bar, and then raised it. Our rich history and unrivalled seafaring knowledge means that Cunard has grown into a truly iconic brand. A brand that constantly refines the definitive experience of ocean travel.

Our fleet comprises four Queens: Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth, and our newest ship Queen Anne. Over the years, we have sailed a staggering 249 ships to the four corners of the world.

Our past

During what is widely known as the Golden Age of cruising, many of Hollywood’s biggest names travelled the seas in style with Cunard. The likes of Cary Grant, Elizabeth Taylor, and Charlie Chaplin were among our guests. It was our unparalleled, white-gloved service, impressive ball rooms, and the chance to discover the world in sublime comfort, that kept this calibre of guests returning; the same reasons why our modern-day guests have followed suit.

Our present

The designs of our current ships have been inspired by our past but reimagined for our future. Alongside classic, art deco stylings and unrivalled craftsmanship you’ll find splashes of bold colour and contemporary comforts.

Feel free to do as much or as little as you like on board, as every venue has been carefully developed to provide plenty of choice. Whether your priority is relaxation, adventure, or indulgence, your Cunard ship will not disappoint.

Our future

As a fleet of four ships, we continue to extend the Cunard Line for future generations, creating even more opportunity to sail the world in comfort and style.

As we steadily approach 200 years of Cunard, our rich heritage of ocean travel means we have been able to refine what it means to voyage.

We look forward to welcoming you on board.

Our shared vision and culture

At Cunard, as part of Carnival Corporation & plc, our highest responsibility and top priority is compliance, environmental protection and the health, safety and well-being of our guests, the people in the communities we touch and serve, and our shipboard and shoreside employees. On this foundation, we aspire to deliver unmatched joyful vacations for our guests, always exceeding their expectations and in doing so driving outstanding shareholder value.

We are committed to a positive and just corporate culture, based on inclusion and the power of diversity. We operate with integrity, trust and respect for each other -- communicating, coordinating and collaborating while seeking candour, openness and transparency at all times. And we aspire to be an exemplary corporate citizen leaving the people and the places we touch even better.

Our Culture Essentials

The culture we create is critical and it’s built through our work, training, how we treat each other and how we hold each other accountable. It’s a reflection of who we are, what we stand for today and what we aspire to be tomorrow.

Together with every brand in our Carnival family, all Cunard colleagues champion our Culture Essentials; a clear set of clear behaviours which help us build an even stronger culture, together.

When we’re performing at our best we:

Speak Up - See something, do something.
Respect & Protect - Respect and protect our people, the planet, the law and our company.
Improve - Focus on compliance and our performance as a team.
Communicate - Talk openly about our Culture Essentials and priorities, and act as we expect others to.
Listen & Learn- Listen to each other, be accountable for our actions and learn from our mistakes.
Empower - Give our teams what they need to succeed.

How we hold ourselves to account

As part of the largest global cruise company, at Cunard we recognise our responsibility to provide industry leadership and to conduct our business as a responsible global citizen. Carnival Corporation & plc has established an ethics and compliance programme to support us in upholding the commitments set out in our company vision and to promote and maintain a high standard of professional and ethical conduct.

We require that every member of the Cunard team uses sound judgment, maintains high ethical standards and demonstrates integrity in their work. We also expect our business partners to respect and follow applicable laws and regulations and to promote ethical decisions and conduct in all aspects of their business with Cunard.

In support of our priority to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone, we publish an annual statement under the United Kingdom’s Modern Slavery Act and Australia’s Modern Slavery Act outlining our efforts to combat slavery and human trafficking. We take our responsibility very seriously and are proud of the measures we have taken.
