Independent Consultant
When I first moved to St. Louis, my father, who owned a travel agency in Arizona, encouraged me to pursue a career in the travel industry. I had the remarkable opportunity to travel all over the country with my previous job and thought this would definitely be a wonderful transition. I worked at a couple of agencies and came to Altair Travel about 13 years ago. The agents and the management are absolutely the best and everyone works together so cohesively - I found my FOREVER home! I tell everyone that I meet that I have the best job in the world; I love the place where I work and I get to make people's dreams come true. What could be better than that??
My career as a travel professional has been beyond amazing. I am able to travel to the most fabulous destinations and am able to share that knowledge and firsthand experience with my clients. And if they want to go somewhere that I have not been to, out of our 50 agents, someone has been there and are more than willing to assist in the planning of your dream vacation.
After over 41 years as a travel consultant, travel just doesn't get old. I still feel like a kid in a candy shop - it is surreal that I got to climb the Great Wall of China, take a camel ride across the desert to the Pyramids in Egypt, marvel at the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel in Rome painted by Michelangelo, stand on the Acropolis in Greece, reflect at the Beaches of Normandy (where my Uncle stood on D-Day), traverse the jungles of Africa, and the list goes on and on.
My clients are most important to me. I always hope to exceed their expectations and the fact that I have so many repeat clients only helps to confirm that they are happy with the way they have been treated. I also do group travel, personal or corporate, and have been doing some groups for 12 plus years. Not only are they my clients, they have become my friends.
Give me a call if you want me to help make your dreams come true. I don't have normal business hours because for my clients I am available literally 24/7. Don't wait, don't hesitate - there is a whole world out there just waiting for you to take in. Looking at pictures are wonderful but experiencing it is unforgettable!!!
